Fairmont Le Château Frontenac – Quebec, Canada

Fairmont Le Château Frontenac / 1 rue des Carrières /Québec, Canada / 1-866-540-4460

This past December my partner and I had the pleasure of reviewing Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. It has always been a dream of mine to experience this opulent hotel, so I was truly grateful for the opportunity.

Wide eyed and jaw to the floor was my expression as my partner and I approached the magnificent and grand Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, the star of Old Quebec! This extraordinary castle-like property stands taller than tall in the heart of Old Québec.
The castle-like architecture is one of the most photographed hotels in the world and is truly awe inspiring and a sight to be hold. It is only fitting that such a beautiful hotel is located in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
You really feel like you have been transported to historic European village.

The rooms and common areas area fitted with furnishings of a historic European hotel. We walked around the hotel and got to see some remarkable and extraordinary furniture and art.

GOOD TO KNOW:
The hotel is PET FRIENDLY!
GAY & LESBIAN FACTOR: Fairmont Le Château Frontenac is a very gay friendly hotel in a very gay friendly city. The hotel made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. My partner and I also saw many other gay and lesbian guests during our stay. There may be an old historic feel about this place, but it certainly was not old world thinking and views! I feel extremely confidant recommending this hotel to family, friends and clients of ours. Whether it be for a quick weekend getaway, a romantic escape, or a week long vacation…you will never run out of things to see & do in Quebec City and with Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac as your home base, you may never want to leave your hotel room! 😉 With that said I am “OUTING” Fairmont Le Château Frontenac as LGBT friendly and worthy of our business.

Fairmont Le Château Frontenac and Quebec City in general is just an extremely magical and stunning place with things like a horse drawn carriages moving about the streets.

This was certainly a magical place to stay. It was great being able to walk to the shops and restaurants as we explored what this gorgeous city had to offer. While in the city, it was just beyond impressive to look up to the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac towering above the city life.

Now every time I see a photo of Frontenac I can smile and say, “I’ve been there and it is everything you imagine and more!”

I cannot wait to return!
