Inn at The Moors – Provincetown, MA

Inn at The Moors / 59 Provincelands Road / Provincetown, MA 02657 / 1-800-842-6379
Having traveled extensively throughout New England, I can honestly say that the view from Inn at The Moors is one of the best I have witnessed.
The inn is located on Provincelands Road, which is a short walk to bustling Commercial Street, yet feels worlds away.
I was instantly impressed from the get go. Beside the breathtaking view of The Moors across the street, the inn itself is stunning.
I loved the original woodwork being used throughout the property, especially the front office.
The slate flooring, wooden oars, chalk board door and fireplace give the inn a rustic, nautical, artsy feeling for sure.
Jesse, the innkeeper, was super friendly and accommodating to my partner Jennifer and I.
We had booked The Light House Room, which was located on the 2nd floor. We absolutely loved it!
From the wood paneling to the ceiling fan, flat screen TV, fun chalk board, comfortable bed and absolutely stunning view, we were extremely impressed.
The first thing that hits you when you walk in the room is the view and how perfectly decorated the room’s coloring is to accentuate the scenery outside.
Whoever designed this room deserves a round of applause! Perfectly done!
There is a flat screen TV, small table with 2 chairs, a mini fridge, couch, huge walk in closet and fun chalk board, however, one of my favorite features of the room, beside the view and balcony is the bathroom!
The bathroom had the most cheerful colored green tiles and porthole window.
I appreciate when things are “different” and the tile and porthole window are unique and made an impression for sure.
I also love how everything matches so perfectly.
While I was taking photos inside, Jen was already on the balcony soaking in the sunshine and enjoying the beautiful views.
Some things that make The Inn at The Moors EXTRA special is the fact that they have a heated outside pool (a rare commodity in Provincetown), plenty of free parking with assigned spots right outside your door, free Wi-Fi, free continental breakfast and, in the winter, you can relax by their roaring fireplace in the lobby!
You are walking distance to 2 beaches, and, best of all, you are only 1 mile to Commercial Street with all its restaurants, nightclubs, shops and cafes!
All of the 30 newly renovated guest rooms boast uninterrupted views of the unparalleled moors and a 180-degree view of the expansive salt marsh and sand dunes. Just beyond, Cape Cod Bay unfolds along the endless horizon.
Quite simply, it is one of the most captivating views in Provincetown and the entire Cape. The lighthouse room has a four-poster deluxe king bed, sofa, wide-screen TV, larger refrigerator, CD player, walk-in closet and extra floor space. Upper Deck rooms have a balcony to sit on and higher views of the moor. Sea Level guestrooms enjoy easy access to the pool and barbecue area and enveloping eye-level views of the moor.

Gay & Lesbian Factor: This is Provincetown! Need I say more? 😉 Completely 100% LGBT friendly! Provincetown is continuously ranked the # 1 travel destination for gays & lesbians in North America. The inn is owned by partners, Diane & Loretta (plus their cat Bob!) – They were extremely welcoming to Gay Travel Information and excited to be featured on the blog. The Inn is located close to all of the LGBT nightlife Provincetown has to offer. It would make the perfect home base for your trip to Provincetown and the Cape. It goes without saying that I am “OUTING” Inn at The Moors as LGBT friendly and worthy of our business.
Inn at The Moors is officially one of my favorite places to stay in Provincetown. It’s “beach cottage” stylled rooms, breathtaking views, friendly staff, fantastic location and amenities make this an easy choice. The inn has everything you could possibly need and more. You have the tranquility, beauty and peace of The Moors outside your window. Beaches are within walking distance. The excitement of Commercial Street is close enough, yet far enough that the noise won’t keep you up at night and let’s not forget the inn’s reasonable rates!
I urge you to make your reservations for this summer/fall NOW as The Inn at The Moors is very in demand and availability will become harder to find as we inch toward high season.
My partner and I are already planning our return in September.
I cant wait! 🙂
