Gay Travel Information: Creperie Catherine – Mont Tremblant – Quebec, Canada

Creperie Catherine – Mont Tremblant Village / 133, Kandahar / Mont-Tremblant, QC, J8E 1A1 / 1-819-681-4888

While visiting Mont-Tremblant this past December my partner and I were treated to an amazing meal at Creperie Catherine in the heart of Tremblant village.

Creperie Catherine is an affordable, charming, family friendly restaurant serving the most delicious crepes you will ever have.

Catherine’s is open year round, uses the highest quality of ingredients and will leave you wanting to come back for more.

The ambiance is that of a Quebec chalet. It is a very cozy, quaint dining area full of Catherine’s collection of chef trinkets and figurines.

In January 1995 Catherine, her husband Francois and her sister, Lorraine started Creperie Catherine and the rest is history! It has quickly become one of Tremblant’s top restaurants and a MUST visit when in the area.

My partner Jen and I were there for dinner. I ordered the Hawaiian Crepe with ham, pineapple, swiss cheese and their delicious Bechamel sauce. I substituted the pineapple for apples and it was out-of-this-world-good!

Jennifer ordered their Mexican Crepe with seasoned chicken, Swiss cheddar, tomatoes, onions and salsa. From the sounds coming from her, I would say she thoroughly enjoyed it! 😉

The size of the crepes are HUGE. Most people could share one, but where is the fun in that? lol! Order your own and if you have leftovers — take them with you for a midnight snack! 😉

For dessert Jen ordered the Mixed Berry Crepe made with raspberries, strawberries and blueberries. It was covered in delectable chocolate sauce and sprinkled with powdered sugar.

I ordered the sinfully delicious Nutella Crepe served with bananas and whipped creme.

Besides amazing food and ambiance, the service was also fantastic!

Our waiter, Daniel, was super friendly and informative. One of those people you click with instantaneously. You could tell when someone loves their job and Daniel clearly loved his job!

Gay & Lesbian Factor: Canada as a whole is gay friendly and Mont-Tremblant is no exception. Catherine was more than happy to be featured on Gay Travel Information’s Blog and welcomed my partner and I with open arms. Daniel made us feel right at home and never stopped smiling. This is an absolutely fantastic place for breakfast, lunch or dinner when in the area. I am hereby “OUTING” Creperie Catherine as gay & lesbian friendly and worthy of our business! 🙂

Every now and then my partner and I will stop and look at each other and say, “MMM, CREPES!” You just can’t get the kind of crepes you find at Catherine’s here in the states. If a place exists I haven’t found it yet.

I know my first meal in Tremblant will be at Catherine’s when I return later this winter!
