Since its first incarnation in the 50s, our rustic retreat has been a place where city and country foxes alike have gathered. You can find our little boutique motel in the Catskills, at the spot where the meandering Ten Mile River and the breathtaking  Delaware River choose to meet.

Only two hours drive/100 miles from New York City, we’re a stone’s throw from one of the most epic moments in music history, Woodstock. All are welcome to join us and experience Mother Nature at her best or discover the many quaint hamlets, great local restaurants and charming shops and markets.

ROOMS: 

Step through your own doorway to a spacious haven. Our eleven rooms are relaxing retreats featuring a King-size bed, air conditioning, television, free high speed internet and lots of charm.

GUEST SUITES:

Need more space to stretch out? Our four suites each include a bedroom featuring a queen-size bed, a light-filled living room with a soft comfy pullout couch, and kitchenette to cook the treat you picked up from one of the local farmers markets. Each suite has direct access to a hidden picnic area nestling right next to the woods.

WOOD CABINS:

If you like the idea of going off grid but you need your wifi and creature comforts then our three cozy cabins are ideal. Set slightly away from our other buildings our cabins each feature a queen-sized bedroom and a rustic living space with a comfy pullout couch, television, wifi , kitchenette and covered front porch.  Think Chez Grizzly Adams, but with maid service and nice toiletries.

GUEST HOUSE:

A home away from home. Five bedrooms and large open spaces inside and out for family and friends to spend quality time together. Set away from our other buildings and backed by its own private patio and neighboring our lovely kitchen garden. Our guest house features four queen-sized bedrooms and a fifth with two bunk beds and three bathrooms. Relax in the spacious living room or enjoy quality time together in the bright and airy kitchen and dining room. You may not want to ever leave.

Events. Weddings. Reunions. Retreats.

Nestled along the Tenmile River in the historic hamlet of Narrowsburg, The Blue Fox Motel is the perfect destination for weddings, family reunions, and corporate retreats. Only two hours from New York City, we offer the convenience of a hotel venue combined with the natural beauty of the Catskill Mountains and the Delaware Scenic Byway.

Restaurant & Lodge
The restaurant and bar can be reserved for private events from welcome cocktails to small rehearsal dinners. Ideal for up to 50 guests seated or 70 guests standing. The lodge is an adjacent indoor event space that accommodates up to 80 guests.

Pool & Patio
Nestled between two of the guest buildings, the pool and patio is completely hidden from public view and is ideal for seated events up to 100 guests and cocktail parties up to 200 guests.

Upper Lawn
The upper lawn offers panoramic views of the surrounding hills and is the perfect location for open-aired or tented events of up to 100 guests.

The Guest House
Idea for intimate summer and winter events. Comfortably accommodates indoor events ranging from 24 to 40 guests and outdoor events ranging from 60 to 100 guests.

Kitchen Garden
Our kitchen garden makes the perfect backdrop for welcome dinners and cocktail parties for up to 60 guests.

Lower Lawn
Set back on the property near the Tenmile River, the lower lawn offers added privacy for tented and open-air events. Comfortably accommodates 120 guests seated or 200 guests in a cocktail format.
