The trunk, situated in the Lobby, is exemplary of true Tuscan tradition, created with skin nails and wood; the skill and knowledge of this craftsmanship has been handed down through generations from father to son. A combination of simple elegance and extravagance, the trunk is a statement piece, harking back to the tradition and history of the environs of Florence.

Olga Polizzi, Director of Design at Rocco Forte Hotels, says: “When we are designing or redecorating, we always focus our attention on comfort. Design is important but it must be pleasant on the eye and not excessive. The hotel must reflect its surroundings and capture the essence of hotel’s location, which we bring into the design of the rooms.”
