I have been a fan of Loews Hotels ever since my first stay at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel in Orlando back in 1999.
There are many reasons I adore Loews, including the fact that it is extremely Lgbt friendly, has an amazing pet friendly policy (Loews LOVES pets), provide super friendly service, a great choice of locations and beautifully appointed rooms.
Recently, my wife Jennifer and I had the opportunity to stay at Loews Atlanta. I was instantly impressed by its sleek, sexy, interior decked out in plum, tan and green color tones.
The lobby is vast and welcoming with contemporary Bar Eleven, Loews Atlanta’s signature neighborhood hotspot.
Bar Eleven’s wall of liquor is just as spectacular as the Midtown views!
This is a perfect spot to meet friends, relax and enjoy one of the hotel’s signature cocktails, including the uniquely local Atlanta cocktail, The Sage Blossom.
Guests of Bar Eleven are also treated to an extensive menu of signature southern cuisine at Loews’ restaurant, Eleven.
After a smooth check in my wife and I headed to our Grand King Room. Upon entering the first thing that literally took our breath away were the floor-to-ceiling, wraparound windows that offered gorgeous views of the Atlanta city skyline!
There was SO much I loved about this room. The views, the soft lighting, the extremely comfortable bed, the glass shower and soft earthly color tones.
The Grand King rooms are very spacious with fine linens, plus towels and an over-sized desk with ergonomic chairs.
Since we were only staying for an evening, we began to explore the hotel. I couldn’t help but notice how friendly all the workers were that we encountered. Each one made eye contact, gave us big smiles and said hello. I guess I would be pretty happy too if I worked for such a great company! 😉

SPA – EXHALE: Exhale is located on the seventh floor of the Loews Atlanta Hotel. Jennifer and I did enjoy Bar Eleven and highly recommend the Sage Blossom, the hotel’s own special cocktail!

It goes without saying that the places we choose to feature on our web site are indeed “gay friendly”, are as most places these days, so what separates Loews Atlanta from the obvious gay friendliness is its superb product! This is a gorgeous property for EVERYONE. Loews has always been very popular with the Lgbt clientele and that is because we, like everyone else, want great service, amenities and value. Everything about Loews Atlanta is winning. The location, the service, the ambiance, the amenities and being in a city known for its Lgbt acceptance certainly is a plus! 😉 My wife and I were treated no differently than anyone else. We enjoyed every second of our experience, from check-in to check-out, okay, maybe check-out was bittersweet, I mean, who wants to leave a place like this? All I know is that as a travel coordinator and travel writer for 15+ years, I would wholeheartedly recommend Loews Atlanta to my clients and readers. With that said I am “OUTING” this amazing hotel as Lgbt friendly and worthy of our business and support!

I love the city. I love the people. I love the weather…..and I love Loews Atlanta.
This hotel deserves more than a typical 5-star rating. It deserves more than simply reading my review.
It deserves YOU experiencing it first hand.
