On a recent trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee by wife Jennifer and I had the pleasure of being hosted at Gatlinburg Falls Resort. 
Gatlinburg Falls Resort is operated by Venture Resorts, the largest cabin rental agency in the Smoky Mountains. They started out with cabins in Gatlinburg Falls Parkview Resort, but have grown and now manage over 500 cabins in resorts around Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville and Wears Valley. The editors of Southern Living Magazine named theur company the “#1 Family Resort in the Smokies.” Their superior service, the cleanliness of their cabins, and the care they take with their guests is one reason why over 36% of their guests come back again! We stayed in the luxurious 5-Star Lodge during our stay. 
This cabin would be PERFECT for larger sized groups as it has 5 bedrooms + 5 full bathrooms. Our favorite area was the downstairs which housed the home theater, arcade games, pinball machine, air hockey, pool table and provided access to the outdoor hot tub! With amenities like this, it was almost too hard to venture outside!

The resort is located less than 5 minutes to downtown Gatlinburg which offers a huge assortment of shopping, dining and entertainment options and is only minutes away from Smoky Mountains National Park. 
There were two experiences that really stuck out during our stay at Gatlinburg Falls Resort. The first was the SOUND of nature late at night. We are from a small town in Rhode Island, close to the city, so hearing the sounds of frogs, crickets, owls, etc., was pretty amazing. Sure we’ve heard these animal sounds before, but not at the VOLUME we experienced during the nighttime. It was surreal! 
Second, we loved being super close to the main entrance of Smoky Mountains National Park. 
We had limited time in the area but were lucky enough to drive Cade’s Cove scenic 11-mile loop which takes you past stunning scenery. 
We even spotted several bears during our visit! It is an absolute must do when visiting the area! 
5-Star Lodge at Gatlinburg Falls Resort had everything we could possible need. In the mood to grill? No problem! Use their outside grill! Want to bake? Take advantage of their full sized kitchen + oven. 
Traveling during the winter? Be sure to warm up by the fireplace or watch the snow fall from the privacy of your Hot Tub! 
There are bunk beds, twin beds, full size beds and, as previously mentioned, 5 full sized bathrooms!
