Gay Friendly Hotel Spotlight – Renaissance Asheville Hotel

Renaissance Asheville Hotel | 31 Woodfin Street | Asheville, NC 28801 | 1-828-252-8211
Asheville is North Carolina’s most gay friendly city and one of the south’s coolest destinations!
In a recent United States census, the Asheville area had 83% more LGBT identified people than the typical American city or town.
Think about that for a second. Pretty great, right?
With North Carolina’s passing of legalized same-sex marriage in October 2014, Asheville continues to sky rocket toward being one of the most gay popular destinations in the United States.

You will be wooed by Asheville’s natural beauty, eclectic / artsy vibe, nightlife, innovative dining, and location between the Blue Ridge Mountains and Smokey Mountains.
You will find that a large quantity of businesses are gay-owned or extremely LGBT friendly, such as the Renaissance Asheville Hotel.
The Renaissance Asheville Hotel provides a perfect location, walking distance to many of the areas best restaurants, shops, art galleries and nightlife.
My wife Jennifer and I recently enjoyed an overnight stay at this beautiful hotel.
Upon arrival we were happy to encounter plenty of free parking, a stunning lobby and friendly, attentive service.
Our king guest room was nicely decorated in soothing Autumn-like earth tones and provided a magnificent view of the Blue Ridge Mountains with floor-to-ceiling windows.
We enjoyed free Wi-Fi and a nice sized premium desk with ergonomic chair.
The marble bathroom was a bit on the small side but more than sufficient for Jennifer and myself.
It was great having the floor-to-ceiling windows to witness a massive thunderstorm that lit up the night sky and illuminated the surrounding mountains!

Gay Travel Information enthusiastically “OUTS” Renaissance Asheville Hotel as LGBT friendly and worthy of our business!
This was my first visit to Asheville. Unfortunately I was only in the area for 24 hours, but what those 24 hours provided was a desire to come back and experience all this amazing area has to offer.

It isn’t just the natural beauty, or the cool shops, restaurants and art galleries…..no, it is THE PEOPLE of Asheville that make it such a special destination.
My stay at Renaissance Asheville Hotel was great for many reasons, however the # 1 thing that sticks out, above everything, was the southern hospitality and friendliness of the staff.
Feeling safe while traveling, especially for two lesbian women, is of uttermost importance and we felt extremely safe at Renaissance Asheville hotel and the Asheville area as whole.
I’d like to say Asheville is a “hidden gem”, but it’s not so hidden anymore! 😉
This is “the real deal” as far as gay friendly destinations go.
Like so many others who have fallen in love with the area….we shall return.
