Vemont To Get Its First Gay Ski Day!

Bolton Valley had decided to come out with the state’s first ever Gay Ski Day. The event will take place on 1 March and is aimed at lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered skiers and boarders who can purchase discounted lift tickets for $34. Family and friends will also be allowed to purchase the discounted tickets. According to the promotional site:

“Vermont Gay Social Alternatives (VGSA) is organizing the first Gay Ski Day at Bolton Valley, Vermont on Tuesday, March 1, 2011. LGBT skiers, snowboarders and their friends and family are invited to join in the fun. Discounted lift tickets are $34 for Alpine, $12 for Nordic. Advanced reservations are required by Tuesday, February 22.”

Participants in the day can arrive at any time, and it should be noted that there are other fees involved for lessons, equipment rental and other services including the use of the Sports center’s pool, sauna and other amenities for those who choose to use them.
