Disclosures

Disclosures & Small Print

Gay Travel Information partners with tourism boards and brands to share stories about destinations, products or services. Many times we will receive compensation as part of these partnerships. This can be in the form of accommodation, meals, activities, flights, free gear etc.,.

Regardless, it is our policy to give an unbiased account of our experiences. We are never told what to write.

Our practice tends to focus on the positive as we only give “stamps of approval” to products, accommodations, restaurants and events we are proud to represent.

Every business / location we work with understands that we publish our honest opinions on this blog, and that is exactly what our spotlight articles are — our opinions and personal views based on our experience.

As of December 1, 2009, the FTC requires bloggers to provide disclosures whenever there could be hidden interests or unspoken biases related to recommendations.

Adding disclaimers all over this blog would be tedious and distracting.

So to “be on the safe side” and preserve your reading experience, please assume that, for every recommendation, link, and product I use, the following all hold true:
