New England Halloween Haunts 2022

It’s Fall in New England which means the bewitching hour is upon us. The time of the year when Halloween haunts open for those brave enough to venture toward. Luckily the haunts range from kid-friendly to not for the faint of heart!

Here is our list of not-to-be-missed Halloween attractions this October.

Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular at Roger Williams Park Zoo – Providence, RI

I was fortunate enough to attend the opening night of this magical event and was truly blown away by the artistry and beauty of the pumpkin trail.

It wasn’t only the jack-o-lanterns that wowed but also the music, and other perfectly placed Halloween decorations.

The environment was festive and alluring packed with people of all ages oohing and ahhing.

This year’s theme celebrates 75 years of television. You will share in the nostalgia of your favorite tv shows from Mr. Ed to The Walking Dead.

I was personally happy to see Stranger Things represented and basked in memories of my youth as I walked past the 1990s, 1980s, and 1970s!

Adding to the festive atmosphere were vendors selling everything from popcorn to cotton candy to pretzels.

You definitely don’t want to miss out on this event!

The Dark Manor Haunted House – Norwich, CT

Known as Connecticut’s scariest haunted house, The Dark Manor is not for the faint of heart!

The Manor is home to the ghastly entities that haunt its hallowed grounds.

Many are driven mad by the terror lurking in every shadow; their desperate screams echoing endlessly down the twisting trail –screams echoing through the desolate Connecticut countryside.

Can you escape the darkness and terror of The Graveyard. The remains of unnamed evil patrol the Graveyard in search of victims to repair their plagued souls.

Plunge into the shadows of the mausoleums while you are surrounded by undead creeps and chainsaw freaks, remorseless in their torment of anyone unfortunate enough to wander into their cold grasp.

Those who can survive the village may narrowly escape with their lives, but for many, their sanity remains lost forever.

The few who escape will suffer to tell the tale. Will you be one of them?
